Edwin is a Partner in the firm’s Corporate and Commercial Department. His work spans across the full spectrum of corporate and commercial transactions including company incorporations, restructuring, contract negotiations, mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures, divestitures and dissolution. Edwin has also been involved in a wide range of assignments involving development projects, banking and finance, foreign investments, PPP arrangements, cooperation with public sector entities, regulatory interventions, Extractives and Energy, Agriculture, Sports and Entertainment Law and Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR). His experience also includes the development of and participation in policy initiatives on regional integration matters within the context of fostering economic and social development in the continent of Africa.
Edwin’s vast cultural awareness enables him apply unique interpersonal and communication skills in dealing with a diverse range of clients and handling their most sensitive legal and business needs.
Edwin has previously held roles within Compliance in International Financial Institutions such as Lloyds Banking Group and National Australian Banking Group.
Edwin has been called to the Bar of England and Wales by the Honourable Society of Lincoln’s Inn and in addition, he is a Barrister and Solicitor of the Supreme Court of Cameroon.
